As runners we all know that subtle differences in clothes or equipment can make or break a long run, that’s why many of us strive to find the perfect gear that fits our body, and in general let us focus on the important stuff, running!
The Nathan Hydration Speed 4 is a great product for those who aren’t completely satisfied with their current hydration set up. With its wider strap, and longer Velcro closures, the speed 4 will stay in place around your waist, no tugging necessary. Some might be sold on that feature alone however the people over at Nathan paid close attention to details, which is the real joy of this belt. The rigid plastic bottle slings are the signature of the company, but the high quality of the bottles they hold will impress. The bottles have wide mouths, making it very easy to fill with drink powders, and the bite valve is nice and soft. There are also two pockets on the belt, with a large one in the back big enough to store both keys and your gels, and a smaller one in the front, to stash your ID in a less sweaty region….And did I mention that it actually stays in place while you run!
All told, the Nathan Hydration Speed 4 is a high quality product, with incredibly well thought out features leaving you to focus on your run, not on your belt.
