I am a big fan of the CW-X tights (I own the Insulator, Stabilyx, Expert, and Pro), so it was a no brainer for me to make use of CW-X’s Pro Shorts for my summer races.
I am no longer a young buck so I welcome any extra muscle support or anything that helps reduce muscle soreness or recovery time. CW-X products do that for me and the Pro Shorts have become my mandatory Ironman run shorts.
I love the way they feel, and the targeted support of the hamstrings, quads, hips, IT band, low back and glutes is exactly what I need, especially when heading out to run a marathon after pedaling 180 km. The shorts are super durable too. My shorts looks like it just came off the rack. I plan on using them for many years to come. Unless of course, CW-X comes out with something that provides even more support.
By the way, for my shorter duathlon and triathlon races, I make use of the CW-X Tri Shorts. They too provide excellent muscle support and last long. I am going into my 3rd year of racing in them and I can’t imagine going without wearing either of these two garments.
