This is the 6th time I have purchased this shoe which shows how much I like it. It is a fairly inexpensive shoe that has a lot of the technology that is used in much more expensive shoes. The fit is amazing for me with a snug heal and midfoot and a fairly roomy toebox that hugs my feet nicely so that they are not sliding around. The shoe is also offered in a narrow and wide fit as well so those of you with different size feet can also enjoy this shoe.
The Adrenalines are a Support shoe for mild pronation. I like the fact that they are not overbuilt and still have a good amount of flex through the midfoot. Brooks uses their new propriety BioMOGO rubber for the midsole. I found it to be very forgiving and resilient, which surprised me. One of the things that I liked about this shoe was the longevity of it. I could get almost 800 really good kilometres out of them, but I thought that those days were done with the BioMOGO. This new rubber had not lost any of its performance so in order to make it biodegradeable they must have taken away some of its strength. But it looks like I was wrong. I am going on 600 km in these shoes and they are still going strong.
I also like what Brooks is doing to try help the environment. Their newest thing is the BioMOGO that biodegrates in only 20 years and releases no harmful substances, but they also use recycled material in their laces and boxes. They are one of the leading shoe companies in reducing there footprint.
So if you are looking for a new shoe for the upcoming season give the Adrenaline a try, you won’t regret it and may end up buying it over and over again, just like me. You can also take this coupon into Running Free and get yourself $5 off your next pair, or anything else you need.
