You get what you pay for.
Over the years I have used many different socks for everyday use and for athletic pursuits. It is the one area of kit that I am quite picky about. I have been using the same brand of socks for 5 years now because they work for me.
Enter Fox River. As a team sponsor I was interested in trying out their stuff. I am a short (ankle) sock kinda guy. The Ankle and Ankle light were the perfect length. I prefer when there is basically no sock showing over the shoe upper.
Not only are these socks flashy (which is allways important) they are extremely well made. They better be as they aren’t particularily cheap.
The durability of these socks is great. I haven’t had a single failure yet (I own 10 pairs) and despite daily use they are still holding together and feel great.
Most importantly, they function great. They don’t bunch (if you put them on properly) and fit snuggly along the entire foot. I am on my feet all day for my job and they are still comfy at the end of the day even if I go for a run in the same socks.
Once again, if you can afford to splurge on socks (which a lot of people take for granted) these are great ones to do it with!
