Nathan Running Pack Review

What can one say about the Nathan running pack…..it’s not just a running pack, it’s my second skin.  I don’t think twice about grabbing it for a run and packing the pockets with food and filling the 2L bladder with eLoad.

I started my ultra running adventures with another running pack and wasn’t feeling so great about it.  If I wanted to get to my food, I had to pull the pack off my back and reach into the pack.  That’s ok for a training run but not the way to do it during a race.  I decided to pick up the infamous Nathan running pack…..my friends simply described it as “the pack”…..just go in and grab it!  So I did.

Initially, I was somewhat reluctant to put on this pack because it wasn’t that big and I’m a 6’1” 200+ pound guy….it only took one run and I was in love.  The pack is outstanding.  It doesn’t sway around when you run and you have front pockets for easy access to your food or other goodies.  I also have the larger pocket in the back to store my keys and head lamp for an early run.

What sealed the deal for me as the best running pack of all time is the service from Nathan.  I accidentally broke the clip on the front of the Nathan Pack.  I was able to get in touch with customer service and they were amazing at dealing with the situation.  They took ownership and ensured that I was back up and running right away and in time for my next training run.

To anyone running long distances and are in need of a running pack…..look no further than the Nathan Running Pack.  It is the best value for your money and you won’t be dissappointed!
