Mizuno Wave Precision 13

The Mizuno Wave Precisions are a neutral shoe and are one of my favorite running shoes that I use not only for training but on race day as well.

The Precision 13s are my third pair of Mizuno Precisions, as I have also run in the Precision 11s and 12s. My first pair of Mizunos were the Wave Riders, which I liked over other brands I had tired that often gave me numb toes. However, I did find the Wave Riders to be a little too structured and stiff for my feet. Once I placed the Preci

sion on my foot, I was in love! The Precision felt like I didn’t have shoes on my feet.

This Mizuno Precision has durability, comfort and just the right amount of stability needed, yet they are light weight, weighing only 7.6ozs for the womens version and 9.7ozs for the mens . The Precision 13s are currently the lightest yet of the previous models. They are considered a neutral shoe that fits the foot like a glove right out of the box. No need for wearing these beauties in.

As a woman, the appearance of this shoe drew me to it. With each new version of the Precision, I fall more in love with them.   From the Cherry Blossoms on the Precision 11s to the beautiful hot pink and lime green of the Precision 13s, they are eye catching and fashionable for us women. Or if you are like my husband who loves a flashy shoe, the mens versions will fit the bill as well.

I have run a few half marathons in the Precisions and have never had as much as a blister. They wrap around the foot like a glove and move with every foot stride to prevent rubbing and shearing.  Yet the upper accommodates many foot types and the outer closed meshing is airy

and soft, allowing the foot to breath and stay cool.

If you have not found YOUR right running shoe yet, give the Mizuno Wave Precision a try. You will not be sorry,

and they may just be your new favorite running shoe too!
