I was introduced to Kari Traa clothing for the first time this spring, and I was immediately drawn to the bright colours and patterns. I love to run in bright-coloured clothing, especially in the winter when the world is a little less colourful. So, I was very excited to win a Kari Traa Louise style long sleeved shirt as a door prize at an event. The colours and pattern on it are nice and attention grabbing, the fit is flattering and the fabric is incredibly soft. One thing to note is the fit runs on the small side. I usually wear an xs to small in shirts, but the medium fits perfectly in this style. I only got the chance to wear the shirt once before the hot weather arrived. At first I thought the cut was a bit shorter at the waist than I would prefer, but the shirt does not ride up at all, so it ended up being just fine. Since fall has arrived, I have worn the shirt a number of times and it looks and feels great and washes well. It’s a lightweight shirt with lots of venting, so good on its own for days that are chilly but not too cold. My only complaint is that the sleeves do not have thumb holes, as I do like that option to pull the sleeves over my hands a bit on those chilly days when my hands are cold at the start but not really cold enough to need gloves the whole run. Overall, this has quickly become one of my favourite cold weather shirts!
