I was super excited to get the Brooks lottery item as it’s been a while since I’ve updated my running wardrobe. I ended up with two items…the Brooks Greenlight Running Capri and the Run Happy Tank.
I was worried with the capris since I prefer a capris or tight with a drawstring to hold up at the waist. Brooks doesn’t seem to offer a drawstring capris, but I must say I have been pleasantly surprised with the fit. The waist fits well and they stay up fine. The material is super soft and comfy and I’ve worn the capris out in both warmer and cooler weather. The technical material was breathable in the heat and kept me warmer in the cold. Overall, I give these capris a 10/10.
I also got the “Run Happy” tank. I got this shirt because of the fun saying on it, but again, I was pleasantly surprised with the fit and have been wearing it way more than I thought I would. The material is super soft (feels like a soft t-shirt material) but it’s definitely still a technical material as it’s totally breathable. It’s also not too long in the torso. I am not a tall person and I often find that tanks are way too long for me but this tank is a perfect length.
