A few months ago I was in luck and was able to snag a navy Brooks Dare Crossback Bra 2.0 in the Warehouse section at Running Free. It was less than $30 so I had nothing to complain about in terms of a high-impact supportive bra. This is by far the most comfortable high impact bra I have ever worn. I tend not to want to spend a lot of money on bras, thinking that I don’t need to spend that much money on something that’s not visible but soon after wearing the Brooks bra I have been converted!
Its pullover design might be a bit of a scramble to put on in a hurry but once worn I’m not distracted with straps falling or moving. The bra is made from a material that is non-chafing and smooth against the skin. I’ve worn this for my longer runs and I can’t recommend this brands bras enough! I’ve gone ahead and spent more money on another Brooks bra – the 3-pocket bra and will review that one next. Hurray to Brooks for testing these on women and making our runs so much more enjoyable and distraction-free.
