About Me: I love being outside and being active! I enjoy most outdoor sports and balance my love of running with my love of eating (cookies and chocolate). I am a proud and active mom. You will see me on the town trails with my Chariot running, skiing and biking with my little guys in tow.

My most catastrophic racing experience was: Alberta Olympic Provincials in 2009. I just felt so slow, the lake was freezing (and race start was delayed bc there was a moose in the lake!) and I ate too much before. Bad combo! I had a bad race and was in my head too much, which led to a bad experience. Learned my lesson!
My most memorable racing experience was: So many, do I have to choose just one? Boston 2016, qualifying for Boston at the Ottawa marathon was a huge highlight, and running with my son anytime always makes me happy.
Favourite Racing Gear: Brooks shoes, shorts and bras, KariTraa shorts, 2xu compression gear, any race t-shirt that fits.... . Running Free hats!

Favourite Race Food: Race food is usually a steel cut oats with fruit, nuts/PB, and maple syrup. Power combo. Fav during race is EnduranceTap. Training food is Fig bars, energy balls (homemade), and I love the apriocot banana baby food packets. It's a thing. I always do long trail runs with my Nathan vest.
