Athletic Goals: Stay healthy, happy, and passionate about running and discovering myself, sharing adventures with others, and seeing beautiful places! Compete well as part of Team Muscles in "The Blaze the Niagara Escarpment Race" (Bruce Trail end to end relay speed race, and scientific research study June, 2009) Surpass 200 km at the Commonwealth Championship in Keswick, UK September, 2009, Canadian Women's Team Podium finish at Commonwealth Championships
My most catastrophic racing experience was: Having our rental car broken into and my race bag stolen within 1 hour of arriving in Hawaii for the HURT trail 100 mile run. I had 3 days to borrow and buy the bare minimum of gear to get me through the 36 hour tropical mountain race.
My most memorable racing experience was: Through run of the Bruce Trail in 2010, 2nd fasted time to date. Competing on Team Muscles in "Blaze the Niagara Escarpment Race" which was a relay through run of the Bruce Trail. The 2 teams tied and hold the current relay speed record. Running the mountain trails at the HURT 100 miler (08) and finally crossing the line in 33 hours 57 minutes as 2nd women was amazing. These trails in Hawaii will always hold a special place in my heart.
