About Me: Completed my first marathon in 1980. Started my latest running life in 2007 after a long break from serious running. Completed 52 marathons (45 since 2007) and 54 Ultras, as well as numerous other road and trail races.
Sports: Road/Trail running
Athletic Goals: To stay injury free and continue pushing my limits.
My most catastrophic racing experience was: I did not prepare/train properly for my second marathon in Toronto in 1980. My knee locked up about half way, reducing me to a slow shuffle. I ended up getting picked up by the sweep bus at 34k.
My most memorable racing experience was: Sharing the podium with a Kenyan. He was first, I was second. Of course he was first overall and I was second in my age group, so we weren't exactly on the podium at the same time. But it's the closest I'll ever get ;-)
Favourite Racing Gear: New Balance and Hoka shoes. Sugoi
Favourite Race: EndurRun
