About Me: I teach elementary students in Oshawa. Although I ran in high school, I restarted in 2008 when we moved to Whitby. Since then my life has changed -- better, busier, and fitter!
Sports: Running is my primary focus. I try to cycle on the side. I would love to learn to swim -- not to do tris but to stay fit.
Athletic Goals: Someday...when things settle down with my kids (ever?), I might want to chase a 3hr marathon. For now, I need to learn to train safely.
My most catastrophic racing experience was: When trying to find the race route! I had to ask several pedestrians where to find the path in Newcastle. Then again, there's also the poor training that resulted in a DNF in Ottawa.
My most memorable racing experience was: Boston beats all! Good training, great weather, great crowd!
Favourite Racing Gear: Mizuno Precision is a great shoe. So too is Saucony Mirage.
Favourite Race: There are quite a few but I have to say that Ottawa does a great job.
Favourite Race Food: Hammer Gel works for me.
