My most catastrophic racing experience was: "Peterborough, 2011"... ask me about it!

My most memorable racing experience was: My first half-iron distance triathlon - I was in a bike accident that destroyed one wheel. I thought the race was over until a fellow participant (whose bike was even more severely damaged) lent me his wheel, so I could finish. I recognized then that triathletes have a defining sense of collegiality.
