My most catastrophic racing experience was: Diagnosed with heatstroke, Cleveland Marathon, 2015. After crossing finishing line, I don't really remember too much however came to when I was plunged into an ice bath for 15 mins, then packed in ice and transported by ambulance Cleveland Clinic with a core temperature of 106 degrees celcius. Was a warm day in Cleveland with 80% humidity and with my focus on keeping my pace I didn't really think too much about the weather conditions though the last 4 km climb into downtown Cleveland were quite painful....that I do remember!
My most memorable racing experience was: Crossing finish line in Cleveland, OH in Boston Qualifying time!!
Favourite Racing Gear: Mizuno Sayonara, Mizuno Rider 18
