About Me: endurance sport has become my way of being in the world over the past ten years. i am a five time ironman finisher and fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. (a survivor of Lymphoma myself). still seeking that perfect ironman race is my goal....
Sports: triathlon, cyclocross, cycling. i used to be an international level tennis player
Athletic Goals: my biggest goal is to KQ one day. run sub 3:30 in ironman, go sub-ten in ironman mostly though, just to keep living this lifestyle as long as possible. i love training...more than racing.
My most catastrophic racing experience was: in 2014, my whole family was sick, and i got sick race day at IMAZ and had to DQ, that sucked.
My most memorable racing experience was: the finish line at my first marathon in 1998. i will never forget that.
Favourite Racing Gear: these days...hoka turns my crank
Favourite Race: Cozumel, Arizona, the old Canada course....
Favourite Race Food: lean protein, paella, burritos (if i feel a little naughty)
