About Me: Two weeks after running my fastest half marathon - the Chilly half- my life changed. A traumatic injury, which kept me in a wheelchair for 6 months, took me out of running for several years. With the encouragement of Garth, the manager of the Ajax Running Free, I started power walking and completed the Toronto International Half marathon. Now I have started to run again and am loving it! Every time I can power walk or run, I am thankful for being able to get out, get active and enjoy the running community again.
