About Me: I grew up in Mississauga and played competitive hockey until graduating high school. In 2012 I moved to Newmarket, bought myself a bike, and signed up for my first triathlon. After learning to swim and finishing my first triathlon I have never looked back. Thanks to the great group of athletes at RF in Newmarket I have learned a lot, shared some knowledge, and continue to improve each day!
Sports: Swim, Bike, Run!
Athletic Goals: My 2018 race season is all based around my first Ironman, Ironman Mt. Tremblant in August. My goal for the race is to finish in a time under 12 hours. I am looking forward to enjoying the process and having fun along the way.
My most catastrophic racing experience was: My most catastrophic race was the Wasaga Beach triathlon in 2012. I had a bike accident in the week leading up to race and the injuries made for an awful race.
My most memorable racing experience was: My most memorable moment was finishing my first triathlon at the Bala Falls triathlon. A close second was cutting my half-iron time by 40 minutes at the 2017 Muskoka 70.3
Favourite Racing Gear: My Asics Kayano shoes, without them I would not make it through my long runs.
Favourite Race: Bala Falls Triathlon
Favourite Race Food: During training for the cycling portion I usually consume 1 or 2 peanut butter and jam sandwiches, combined with potato pancakes depending on the length. During long runs I tend to head towards Clif Bar Energy Chews.

First of all, thank you to Team Running Free for allowing me the opportunity to participate in this amazing event
I was lucky enough to win the Saxx lottery this year, and I could not be happier. With my lottery
On July 9th I competed in the Muskoka 70.3 for the second time. Due to construction on the highway
