Athletic Goals: 2010 Ironman Lake Placid.(check) 30KM Around the Bay.(check) HSBC Wellan Half Ironman. (check) Peterborough Half Marathon. (check)....looking forward to 2011!
My most catastrophic racing experience was: During my first triathlon at Guelph Lake I was swam over twice during the start and then 5km into my bike, my rear derailleur snapped in half. The icing on the cake was having to walk my bike back to the start while the rest of the competitors went flying on by.
My most memorable racing experience was: Being a bike race marshal during the 2009 USA Ironman and talking to Heather Fuhr. Watching the first heart transplant recipient cross the finish line during the 2008 Ironman Canada. My own racing experiences have been filled with great memories and I cannot single out just one.
