About Me: I'm a PhD candidate in philosophy of science (specifically philosophy of medicine and psychiatry). I'm an ultrarunner and competitive powerlifter. I love to bake and cook and be outside.
Sports: Trail running, powerlifting
Athletic Goals: I'm hoping to improve my 50 mile and 100km racing and training strategies, and better balance running and powerlifting.
My most catastrophic racing experience was: I fainted at the 90km aid station during the Istria 110km race last April! My partner had to help feed me and get my hydration back on track. She helped me rally and I finished strong!
My most memorable racing experience was: Finishing UT Stokely Creek in 2022. It was my first "big kid" ultra, and crossing the finish line after 85km of gnarly, northern Ontario trails felt like such an accomplishment.
Favourite Racing Gear: Hoka Speedgoat 5, La Sportiva Jackal II
Favourite Race: UT Stokely Creek (RIP)
Favourite Race Food: Oreos!
