About Me: Proud Papa, Tri Geek, Tri Coach, Tri Writer/Reporter, Photography Geek, lover of Boston Terriers, a Video Gamer when I can find free time, and a Slow Cooker connoisseur.
Sports: Duathlon, Triathlon, Adventure Racing, Running, Cycling in all forms, Tennis, Hockey, Badminton, and Golf.
Athletic Goals: Race safe, smart and successfully in 2018. Help the athletes I work with achieve their goals and dreams.
My most catastrophic racing experience was: No such thing for me. Although my 3 flats at Bracebridge (2009) and another 4 flats at Ottawa (2010) could be a candidates. I am just thankful to be out there doing what I love. It's all good.
My most memorable racing experience was: All of 2009. After missing the 2008 race season thanks to an Achilles rupture (playing tennis) and subsequent surgery, I raced as much as I could in 2009 and loved every second of it. It will be more of the same going forward in 2013 and beyond as long as I can manage my newly discovered very painful arthritis in my right foot.
Favourite Racing Gear: Running Free team apparel, Litespeed Bikes, Brooks Racer ST, PowerTap wheels and pedals, Garmin 920xt, ec3d compression gear, and my TP Massage Ball Kit to keep injuries at bay.
Favourite Race: IMMT, IMCAN (Penticton), Kona, IMLP. Iron 226, Barrelman, MSC races.
Favourite Race Food: Steaks & Craft beer.
