My most catastrophic racing experience was: Not making it to the start line of my first half marathon - Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront -- 2011, due to injury. Opted not to run vs. attempting to run knowing I would likely cause more damage and have an awful first experience. I watched the race that morning on TV. Although disappointed not to run, I completed my first half marathon the following spring.
My most memorable racing experience was: Running a 5K with my son. Crossing the finishing line of my first marathon -- Road2Hope Hamilton - 2013 and bursting into tears. It was incredible!!!
