About Me: I started a learn to run program in April 2010 and have competed in many races since then. I have 2 kids and I work in Orangeville for Royal Lepage RCR Realty. I wanted to continue my running journey with more challenges and possible a triathalon this year
Sports: I love running and boxfit at Bigtyme Fitness. I also love playing soccer both indoor and outdoor with Orangeville Athletics
Athletic Goals: I am hoping to reach my aggressive goal of a half marathon in under 2 hours. I would also like to incorporate more trail running and perhaps a triathalon
My most memorable racing experience was: In 2011- myself and 5 other women ran in the Sears Great Canadian Run - a relay to end kids cancer. Together we ran from Toronto to Blue mountain covering over 131 km. Personally I ran 25km and it meant so much to be able to race with some amazing women through part of our beautiful province and raise over $15000 for cancer research for kids
Favourite Racing Gear: Love Love Love lululemon running hat with high ponytail! Alos the Nathan belt and the lululemon running pant - totally insulated and has wind proof on the front, great for those cold winter days!! Also I use the nathan pocket band to easily carry my phone!
Favourite Race: Uxbridge 10 trail run
Favourite Race Food: I usually drink powerade zero mixed with water when I run
