My most catastrophic racing experience was: 2011 - My only DNF to date was at the Pick your Posion Trail Race at Horsevalley. I had just completed 100 kms Lake Waramog road race the week before and had hurt my foot. Having already paid for the event I had to give it a try. I got through 25 kms but the stabbing pain made it nearly impossible for me to keep going. I felt terrible for a long time trying to get over the fact I did not finish.
