About Me: Outdoor enthusiast, adventure monger, shutterbug, and foodie-in-training. It's a big world out there and we'll experience it one step at a time!
Sports: Rugby, Sailing, Running, Mountain Biking, Kayaking / Canoeing, Snowboarding .
Athletic Goals: Learn a little bit more about the wonderful world of endurance sports. Hopefully I'll become a fierce competitor in some of the local adventure and multi-sport races!
My most catastrophic racing experience was: During some tight and twisty single track I crashed my bike and the next 4 athletes behind me ran into me causing an embarrassing traffic jam!
My most memorable racing experience was: In the last kilometer of Storm the 'Scarpment the gentleman ahead of me slipped off his paddleboard and I was able to pull ahead right before the finish!
Favourite Racing Gear: Brunton Compass
Favourite Race: Storm the Trent
Favourite Race Food: Before: A little bit of steel cut oats After: Beer and Quesadillas!
