About Me: I am an outdoor enthusiast. Anything outdoors is better :) I have been competing in triathlons for about 5 years.
Sports: I am a triathlete, mountain biker, trail runner, and an equestrian rider.
Athletic Goals: I have taken the past year semi-off of racing seriously, so my goal now is getting back into race shape and start next season off well.
My most catastrophic racing experience was: Rolling over on the same ankle, twice, in a Peterborough XC race. I couldn't walk when the race was done. But, I still qualified for Nationals :) I think the adrenaline of knowing what place I was in masked the pain.
My most memorable racing experience was: Racing at World's is still my no. 1 experience. Racing among the top athletes in the world was amazing. It was also a very humbling experience. I also raced The Around the Bay race this past March with a friend. We wore garbage bags to keep dry and received more "You are looking great" comments than ever before!
Favourite Racing Gear: Shoes: Asics Nimbus and Mizuno Wave Rider. Shorts: Saucony Performance Short (super light weight...it feels like you don't even have any shorts on!) Shirt: Any tank Socks: Fox River Trail shoes: Brooks Cascadia and Salomon GTX 3D Pro
Favourite Race: World Triathlon Championships 2008
Favourite Race Food: GU! All Gu products.

I recently won a few pairs of Fox River Socks through the Running Free Lottery, and Wow! They are fantastic.
