About Me: I am a mama of two and wife to an exceptional trail runner. I am an ex professional ballerina and still teach classical ballet to many amazing students. I found running after graduating university and have fallen deeply in love with it. I love the constant challenge of trying to improve and goal setting. I love to run road races but like to mix in a great trail race once and a while for the humbling experience of nature.
Athletic Goals: I have some goals for myself this year. I am coming out of an injury, so I would like to remain injury free first and foremost. Second I would like to achieve a sub 2 half marathon and a sub 4 full marathon.
My most memorable racing experience was: Most memorable moment for me would be the first time I ever podiumed. It was my first time running at the Chase the Coyote trail race and it was fluke we stayed for the awards. When I heard my name my husband had to pick my jaw up off the floor. I received a red water bottle for placing third in my age category and will never forget the joy and surprise of that moment.
Favourite Racing Gear: I am a fan of Saucony shoes for both road and trail. I love Watuko headbands and GU chews for long runs.
