About Me: As a busy mom, my days are nonstop—but so is my anxiety. For years, my mind raced with worries I couldn’t quiet, until I discovered running. What started as a desperate attempt to manage stress became my escape, my therapy, and my passion. Running clears my mind in ways nothing else can. It reminds me that even on the hardest days—whether in parenting or life—I can keep moving forward, one step at a time.
Sports: Running, Yoga
Athletic Goals: My goal is to inspire others to unlock their full potential by transforming their bodies and discovering their true strength. I believe that movement is powerful, and with dedication and the right mindset, anyone can push past their limits and achieve more than they ever thought possible.
My most catastrophic racing experience was: This past winter I came down with a horrible respiratory infection. I had to take a month off. My first day back out, I struggled significantly and had myself convinced that it was over for me, and I would never get back up to the stamina I was performing at. Obviously, that was my anxiety playing games. I am now slowly but surely getting back into the swing of it.
My most memorable racing experience was: My first memorable moment was last summer when I realized I could breathe easier, push through the discomfort, and truly run distance. It feels like it happened in the blink of an eye. I went from panting and struggling to finish a quarter of a mile to running a daily 5k in my neighborhood with ease.
Favourite Racing Gear: Any gear that is comfortable to move in, moisture wicking, and stretchy makes me a very happy runner.
Favourite Race: Any race that pushes me to try my best
Favourite Race Food: Energy gels. I have an entire stock of them in my glove compartment at all times.
